SkillGuard is an open security scanner for AI agent skills. As the agent ecosystem grows, third-party skills become a major attack vector. We built SkillGuard to give developers instant visibility into what a skill actually does before it runs in their environment.

Our detection engine runs 50+ pattern checks across six threat categories — from prompt injection and data exfiltration to hardcoded secrets and runtime code execution. Every scan produces a 0–100 trust score with a detailed breakdown of findings.

SkillGuard is designed to be fast, client-safe, and privacy-respecting. All scanning logic runs server-side; no skill content is ever stored or logged.
